Senior Communications Manager

We are looking for a communications manager to support the leadership team from an overall business process, communication management, business management, business analytics, content readiness, and messaging perspective. This individual must be a highly motivated, self-driven individual with exceptional skills in writing, designing, and developing strategy and communications supporting program objectives.

The communications manager will own and create the communications program strategy and collaborate closely with their designated client’s stakeholder(s) to drive clarity, engagement, business analytics, and governance for internal and external audiences. In addition to the strategy, this person will be responsible for various communications, such as internal program and launch e-mails, monthly executive newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, and program status updates anchored on program results and best practices. The ideal candidate has a passion for writing, editing, content curation, design, and technology. This individual must collaborate across various stakeholders with creativity, resourcefulness, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with stakeholders and supporting team members to develop new content and maintain existing high-quality content, ensuring it has the proper tone, messaging, and effectiveness to support business objectives
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the customers business, technical environments, needs and constraints in order to effectively provide solution
  • Produce monthly/quarterly program communication updates by collaborating with key stakeholders on insights, learnings and optimizations for the fiscal period
  • Contribute to a high-quality rhythm of business (ROB), planning cycles to drive and scale execution, and landing business outcomes in the organization
  • Stay updated on client’s brand trends and your organization’s strategic initiatives. Adjust the content strategy as needed
  • Coach program managers on brand guidelines and consistency, all while ensuring legal compliance (e.g. copyright and data protection)
  • Analyze and report communications metrics. Adjust strategy and content for optimization
  • Document best practices and share with Program Managers for replication
  • Prepare, rewrite, and edit copy to improve readability prior to publication
  • Design and maintain the brand of your designated org (ex: Service Center)
  • Develop a “Content, Governance, Tooling and Effectiveness” communication strategy for leadership team to implement and measure effectiveness
  • Help communicate and land changes to services to the internal and external stakeholders
  • Execute monthly communications for all-up team; build out presentation & newsletter templates to enable self-service
  • Prioritize executive communication support to all-up leadership team
  • Manage global communications strategy through content creation, revision, and design of marketing and business collateral materials, as well as graphics, icons and imagery


  • 3+ years’ experience in communications, strong written and PowerPoint slide creation experience demonstrated with samples of work or a portfolio. Experience in Cloud/SaaS environments a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
  • Exceptional messaging and writing skills, with great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Outlook and Word and can efficiently create content directed at an executive audience
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills leveraging internal and external resources
  • Ability to distill variant feedback into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to stakeholders
  • Comfortable in a high-paced and dynamic team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and deliverables simultaneously across stakeholders
  • Flexibility with “ad hoc” projects
  • Time management, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
    • Excel/PBI experience/Statistics
